CNA Stores’ Largest-Ever Community Donation Delivered to Our Neighbors’ Table
Salisbury, Mass. (Aug. 5, 2025) – Our Neighbors’ Table was recently the recipient of CNA Stores’ largest-ever donation to a community organization.
The $22,239.92 donation — raised entirely through customer contributions at CNA’s Amesbury and Haverhill locations during the month of June — will provide vital support as demand for food assistance continues to grow across the region.
The funds will directly benefit ONT’s food assistance programs, including the Summer Lunch Program that supports families who rely on free school meals during the academic year. Visits to ONT have increased by 9% compared to last year, and the organization anticipates even higher demand for services as cuts to public assistance programs like SNAP and Medicaid take hold in local communities.
Each week, ONT providing groceries for an average of 1,800 people with more through its free markets in Amesbury and Salisbury and integrated markets at Councils on Aging food pantries across the region.
“This incredible donation will make sure we maintain a consistent, reliable supply of the items our guests rely most – fresh foods like eggs, milk, fruits and vegetables, some of which we have to purchase,” ONT Executive Director Lyndsey Haight said. “Food security relies on community support, and we are so grateful that CNA Stores shares our mission to reduce stigma, serve with dignity and build a stronger community for every neighbor.”
Since opening in 2020, CNA Stores has contributed more than $750,000 to local nonprofits and logged over 3,100 volunteer hours for local non-profits.
