    An annual two-week-long series of professional classical chamber music events in August, including concerts, open rehearsals, children's programs, lectures, and original compositions. NCMF also holds a Winter Baroque concert and spring concerts. The Newburyport Chamber Music Festival fosters an interactive partnership between residents and visiting artists by engaging the community in the process of creating and presenting chamber music in a variety of Newburyport’s unique architectural spaces. NCMF was founded in 2002 by Artistic Director David Yang and Newburyport resident Jane Niebling.
