Job Title: Local Repegs Representative

Location: Essex County

Duration: Year-round position- contractor 

Hours: Part-time 

Compensation: $30 per hour

As a Local Repegs Rep, your primary responsibilities include:  identifying and engaging local merchants to use the Repegs App, fostering relationships with potential users to promote adoption and engagement of the app, training and onboarding merchants and their employees.  Local Reps will take the lead in building and promoting the Repegs brand within the community, devising creative strategies to enhance brand visibility among merchants and users alike. Serving as a bridge between Repegs and the local community, you'll organize various events and activities to foster community engagement and integrate Repegs into the lifestyle of the community. Collaborating with the Repegs team, you'll develop and execute expansion strategies tailored to the specific needs of the local community, continually seeking opportunities to grow and strengthen Repegs' presence. Gathering input and feedback from merchants and users and reporting on merchant and user experiences is crucial to the  success of the local Repegs initiative and  will inform ongoing product development and updates. Key requirements for this role include a genuine passion for community engagement, strong communication skills, sales and marketing experience, creative problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and knowledge of the local area and community dynamics.

Responsibilities:

  • Merchant and User Acquisition: Identify and engage with local merchants to onboard them onto the Repegs platform. Cultivate relationships with potential users, encouraging adoption and engagement with Repegs services.

  • Brand Building: Take ownership of building and promoting the Repegs brand within the community. Develop creative strategies to increase brand visibility and awareness among both merchants and users by collaborating with the Uni Territory Reps.

  • Community Engagement & Partnerships: Act as a liaison between Repegs and the local community. Organize events, workshops, and other activities to foster community engagement and promote Repegs as an integral part of community life. Creating mutually beneficial arrangements such as co-promotions, joint events, or special deals that leverage partnerships to enrich the Repegs experience for both merchants and users. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for these partners, ensuring smooth communication and effective collaboration to drive growth and engagement on the platform.

Expansion Strategy: Collaborate with the Repegs team to develop and implement expansion strategies tailored to the specific needs and characteristics of the local community. Continuously seek opportunities to grow and strengthen

  • Repegs' presence within the community.

  • Feedback and Reporting: Gather feedback from merchants and users to identify areas for improvement and inform future development initiatives. Provide regular reports to the Repegs team on the progress of merchant and user acquisition efforts, as well as overall brand building activities.

Requirements:

  • Passion for Community Engagement: A genuine interest in building connections and fostering community spirit within the local area.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Sales and Marketing Experience: Prior experience in sales, marketing, or business development is preferred, with a proven track record of achieving targets and driving growth.

  • Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative strategies to overcome challenges and achieve objectives.

  • Self-Motivated: Highly self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Knowledge of Local Area: Familiarity with the local area and community dynamics is desirable.
