Changing the Face of Politics in Massachusetts
Join us for a delicious seaside luncheon as you take in the beautiful waterfront view at the Seaglass in Salisbury. Enjoy one of their seasonal signature dishes, while networking with colleagues and celebrating the presence of women in politics! Be inspired by guest speaker Priti Rao as she shares the successes of women in political leadership roles and how their political involvement impacts women from all walks of life. Also, hear from local elected officials Senator Kathleen O’Connor Ives and Mayor Donna Holaday.

Biography:
Priti Rao, a native of Rochester, New York, is executive director of the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus (MWPC) and an advocate for women’s political parity at all levels of government. Rao’s rise from intern to executive director of the MWPC epitomizes the goals of the multipartisan, nonprofit organization: maximizing the participation of women in the political process, mentoring future political leaders, and increasing the number of women appointed and elected to public office and public policy positions.
