Newburyport is famous for its rich maritime history, Federal era mansions, boutique shops, and fine restaurants. It’s a prime destination for crowds of tourists who flock to our riverside community to enjoy magnificent views and soak in Newburyport’s culture.
Of course, Newburyport has other not-so-obvious visitors during the year. An ever-changing array of migrating animals pass through and, combined with our resident wild plants and animals, make our area a unique biodiversity hotspot.
