Event Description:
Show your support for our community's rail trails by being the slowest to ride a bike 1/2 a block. The last rider across the finish line without touching a foot to the ground wins the Slow Bike Race! There are also prizes for best costume, team spirit and most donations. Loaner bikes will be available.
The Slow Bike Race is a fundraiser for the Coastal Trails Coalition, a non-profiit organization whose mission is the development of pedestrian and bicycle pathways connecting the towns of Newbury, Newburyport, Salisbury and Amesbury.
