Event Description:
Pennies for Poverty is partnering with TD Bank's "Bring Change" event in Newburyport on Friday, July 24, 2015 at their 51 State Street Newburyport location. On that day, residents of the greater Newburyport area will be invited to use the store's Penny Arcade Coin Counting Machine and TD Bank will match the coins counted with a donation to Pennies of up to $2,000. Attendees will also have an opportunity to donate all or a portion of their coins counted to Pennies for Poverty.
This partnership grows out of TD Bank's "Bring Change" program, which supports local organizations that are making a real difference in the communities TD serves.
Stop by with your coins between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm. Donations will be used to provide fresh fruit, vegetables and fish to people living in poverty in Greater Newburyport.
