About CAC

The Child Advocacy Center of Rockingham County is a non-profit organization that works in conjunction with community agencies such as law enforcement, the county attorney’s office, child protective services, medical and mental health providers, and victim advocates in the pursuit of the safety, health, and wellbeing of children. With office locations in Portsmouth and Derry, the CACRC was New Hampshire’s first CAC, modeling the multidisciplinary approach and improving our state’s response to child abuse while also limiting any additional trauma to the child. Since opening our doors in 2000, we have served nearly 6,000 children.
