This will be a day spent in prayer, theological reflection, guided meditations based in Teresa de Ávila’s Interior Castle and The Rule of St. Benedict regarding humility. Participants will be invited to explore personal meditations in song, writing and colorful drawing. Facilitator, Rev. Ema Rosero-Nordalm, born in Tumaco, Colombia, and having earned degrees in Spanish and Latin American Literature and in bilingual and bicultural education, worked for 22 years at Boston University teaching Spanish and training students in second language methodologies and practice. As a deacon in the Episcopal Church, she dedicates her life and the flame of her vocation as an educator to the creation of programs, workshops, spiritual retreats, and spiritual accompaniment to Latino communities.
