Open House 10 year Anniversary Celebration June 8 at First Parish Newbury Food Pantry

All are invited to help us celebrate 10 years of building community with neighbors helping neighbors! The Newbury Food Pantry is a 100% volunteer organization working to reduce food insecurity in seven area communities including Newbury, Newburyport, Salisbury, West Newbury, Ipswich, Rowley, and Georgetown. There has been tremendous growth in 10 years: from serving a single person in December of 2015 to now fulfilling orders for over 750 people each Friday. We are so thankful for our neighbors and community supporters who assist us in our mission. At our 10 year celebration you can learn about the our systems to reduce food insecurity in local households and schools and the methods we utilize to reduce waste with food recovery programs. Come visit us on Sunday, June 8th from 1PM to 3PM and enjoy refreshments, music, tours, kid's activities, and raffle prizes!
