Newburyport Winter Concert—
A Celebration of Unity: Holiday Music from Around the World
Under the direction of Music Director Minji Kim, the Newburyport Choral Society will perform a selection of delightful holiday music from various cultures and countries from around the world.
This festive program will also feature a performance by the Greater Newburyport Children's Chorus, as well as small chamber orchestra ensemble including piano, harp and percussion instruments. Choral selections include a Spanish lullaby, a Moroccan Chanukah composition, an African Kwanzaa song of celebration, a Filipino Christmas carol and the well-known Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten. We will celebrate the joy in being together as a community and honor many unique cultural identities of our shared humanity. Please join us!
