Ryan Turner will conduct the Newburyport Choral Society's Winter Concert.
Event Description:
Please join us for our Winter Concert this year at Belleville Congregational Church. Titled “In Terra Pax” (Peace on Earth), these exciting concerts sure to inspire audiences will include:
  • John Rutter’s When Icicles Hang, a selection of spirited and festive English carols,
  • Gerald Finzi’s In Terra Pax, a beautiful setting of the Nativity story,
  • Zanaida Robles’ Guidelines, an NCS-commissioned premiere setting the sublime poetry of Newburyport poet Rhina Espaillat in collaboration with the Greater Newburyport Children’s Chorus.
  • Other seasonal tunes.
Music Director Ryan Turner will conduct the choruses, along with the NCS Orchestra and vocal soloists. GNCC Founder and Music Director Gina McKeown will conduct the Greater Newburyport Children’s Chorus singing several holiday music pieces certain to delight concert-goers of all ages.

**Note: Only conductors, vocal soloists and wind instrumentalists may be unmasked.
