Abstracts & Abstracted Expressions

Wednesday, October 2, 2024 – Sunday, October 20, 2024

 

Newburyport, MA - Newburyport Art (NAA) presents Abstracts & Abstracted Expressions, on view in the Sargent, Hartson, and Hills Galleries. This exhibition features over 130 abstract artworks across a variety of different media.

 

The Abstract Artists Group of New England (AAGNE), A Newburyport Art featured interest group, is highlighted in the Hills Gallery as a part of the Abstracts & Abstracted Expressions show. Over 20 artists from the AAGNE are represented..

 

Abstracts & Abstracted Expressions includes artwork from both members and non-members, and boasts a number of large scale abstract works. Visitors will find paintings in oil, acrylics, and watercolor, emotive photography, unique mixed media creations, sculptures and more. Only a few more weeks to catch this exciting new show, be sure to stop by the galleries and see this exhibit in person!

 

Running concurrently with the Abstracts show is the Fall Gift Shop, on view until November 17th, with a number of small works available for $100 or less.

 

The galleries are free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00am–5:00pm and Sunday from 1:00pm–5:00pm. Newburyport Art is closed on Mondays.
