On Sunday, June 3, feline fanatics will step out to raise much-needed funds for cats in need at the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society’s 23rd annual “Strut for Strays.”
This year, the Strut for Strays features a 2.8-mile scenic fundraising walk that starts and ends at historical Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm in Newbury, followed by free refreshments for all walkers. “Purr-ticipants” can raise money from their families, friends and co-workers by signing up at www.firstgiving.com/event/mrfrs/2018-Strut-for-Strays.
The Strut is generously supported by the Institution for Savings, The Lynch Family, Finkels and Felines, Haverhill Steel, Merck Animal Health, The Feline Hospital and the Community Cats Podcast. For more information, call 978-462-0760, email info@mrfrs.org, or visit www.mrfrs.org.
