Member Mixer at Newburyport Olive Oil & Port Plums
Join owners Karen and Katie Shernan as they showcase their lovely shops and network with fellow Chamber Members at the Tannery. In December of 2014, Karen and Katie fulfilled a lifelong dream by purchasing Newburyport Olive Oil Company. These two ladies are longtime residents of Newburyport and lifelong foodies. The mother-daughter duo dreamed of owning a small business in this beautiful town – one that support local residents, merchants, and artisans, as well as provide healthful and delicious meal components for the community.
Immediately after acquiring the store, they insisted on absolute top quality and authenticity in everything sold and within two months achieved the coveted Ultra-Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil designation.
In 2015, they expanded their shop with the addition of Port Plums which compliments Newburyport Olive Oil Company with a lovely selection of kitchen supplies and gift items.
