Join fellow leaders, entrepreneurs, non-profits, and local businesses for the 2014 State of the City address, the annual presentation on Newburyport's current standing, by Mayor Donna Holaday. As Newburyport prepares for its 250 anniversary, the city is continuing projects already in-process and planning for the implementation of new ventures moving forward.
Several items will be addressed including the new Harbormaster and Visiting Boater Facility, Newburyport's recent designation as a Cultural District, and what is in store to celebrate Newburyport's 250 anniversary. Hear about the status of the ordinance proposed to limit single-use plastic bags and the impact it will have on the city, while learning more about the new Parkmobile mobile application offered at all six municipal lots in the downtown area.
