Event Description:
American Thread will be at the Cat in the Cradle Coffeehouse on April 18. This so called "little band" from Boston is huge on stage, presenting their high quality roots music with a sound that is just what Americana should sound like. Their stories are original and so is their sound, weaving together a bit of blues, country twang, and that small-town, neighborhood bar vibe. American Thread has variety, quality, and sheer musicality in abundance.
Opening the night is singer/songwriter Bob Warren. Bob's songs are emotionally charged and cover a variety of styles. The constant in all is his knack of engaging his audience with gentle introspection, wit, and engaging sound.
The Cat in the Cradle Coffeehouse is hosted by the Byfield Community Arts Center, 7 Central Street, Byfield, MA. Doors open at 7:30 and admission is $5.00 at the door. The Cat Cafe serves beer, wine, soft drinks, and snacks throughout the evening.
